Sarovar Hotels has declared the latest brand launch of its latest value segment, Hometel, by signing with a hotel in Nairobi. The hotel, Tetezi Hometel in Nairobi, will mark Sarovar Hotel’s fourth tie-up in Kenya’s capital after The Heron Portico, The Zehneria Portico and The Lazizi Premiere. Sarovar will exceed a total of 400 keys in Nairobi and 800 keys in Africa with this latest offering.

The Tetezi Hometel, with 80 keys, is situated alongside the Riverside Drive, Nairobi and is owned by Tetezi House Ltd., the owner and promoter of which is John Mburu, a renowned and established lawyer. Upon completion, the hotel would offer all modern amenities demanded from a first-class hotel based on international standards. The project has already commenced and the hotel is expected to be open to visitors in the year, 2019.

The upcoming brand launches in India, especially in the hospitality domain bring a lot of opportunities with themselves. Otherwise reserved, elated Mr. Ajay K. Bakaya, Managing Director of Sarovar Hotels said, “Hometel, our mid-segment brand, ensures that the owners profit from the hotels. There is a growing need for good budget hotels across the country and abroad, which is a large segment of the customer base. We aim to cater to this market with our value-for-money hotels and by offering the best value to the section of business and leisure travellers.”

Tetezi Hometel, Nairobi will be the eighth property owned by Sarovar Hotels in Africa. There are quite a few other properties by the group in the continent, which includes The New Africa Hotel, Dar-Es-Salaam, Tanzania, Panoraman Sarovar Portico, Juba, South Sudan, Sarovar Premiere, Lusaka, Zambia; and Sarovar Premiere, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. With this major brand launch of this segment, Sarover is on to capture a large customer base both for leisure as well as business travel.

The other properties of the huge group comprise Tanzania, Juba, Dar-Es-Salaam, Zambia, Ethiopia among many others. The reputed hotel chain has made its presence felt across the globe by bringing new initiatives and product launches. With this brand, it is expected to gain even more popularity in the coming time.
